York's Qa Research Joins Insight Division at EMB

York, UK-based agency Qa Research has joined EMB Group, a professional services firm which has bought its way into the MR sector via acquisitions over the last year and a half. Financial terms were not disclosed.

EMB also offers business information and advice, grant and transaction processing. Its research division is now home to around 60 people, and started out with the acquisition of Pye Tait Consulting in early 2023, followed by Blue Marble Research a year later.

Qa Research will retain its name and current leadership, and continue to operate in York. MD Richard Bryan (pictured) comments: 'Over the past few years, Qa has been growing steadily and we wanted to find a partner with the right systems and culture to underpin this growth. As a business that is already engaged with many of our sectors and which understands how research agencies operate, EMB Group is a great fit for us. We're excited to be part of the Group and working alongside the other research teams'.
