Forrester Strengthens Board as Teichgraeber Retires
In the US, technology markets research group Forrester has appointed entrepreneur Bob Bennett to its Board, effective immediately.
Bennett (pictured) co-founded InvoiceCloud, a web-based provider of electronic bill presentment and payment solutions, and set up its parent company EngageSmart which completed an IPO in 2021. He retired from his role as CEO of EngageSmart in April 2024, but remains an independent board member of its two principal constituent companies, InvoiceCloud and SimplePractice. Since his retirement he has become active in organisations aiming to help bridge the wealth gap in disadvantaged communities through, including EforAll, The Boston Foundation and Northeastern University.
Seven weeks ago Forrester strengthened the Board by appointing a former employee, Cory Munchbach, now CEO of customer data platform BlueConic. Together with Bennett, this brings the Board to nine members, with incumbent member Gretchen Teichgraeber retiring in May.
Chairman and CEO George F. Colony comments: 'Bob's entrepreneurial spirit combined with his hands-on experience in building and scaling profitable public companies will be invaluable to Forrester in driving sustained contract value growth. His strong operational experience as a former CEO, expertise in sales management, and ability to build strategic flywheels that create repeatable processes will be impactful to Forrester as we continue to focus on increasing the contract value of Forrester Decisions'. He adds: 'I'd also like to thank Gretchen for her twenty years of service to the board and for her guidance in helping Forrester transform into a subscription-based business'.
