Segmentation Chatbot Launch for STRAT7 Bonamy Finch
UK-based STRAT7 Bonamy Finch has launched a segmentation chatbot which it says offers user-friendly access to segmentation data using natural language queries.
The STRAT7 brand was launched in 2019 by insight and analytics agencies ResearchBods and Bonamy Finch, together with start-up LiFE. Three years ago it launched strat7.ai, which offers structured analysis from unstructured data sources at scale. The new chatbot is the latest addition to this suite, following cultural trends platform Crowd Signals in 2021 and generative AI tool strat7GPT in November last year.
The company says chatbot provides users with detailed summaries, improved quant and qual fact-finding capabilities, allowing users to work more efficiently with their segmentations, and freeing up time and resources within insights teams.
STRAT7 Bonamy Finch MD Paul Jackson (pictured) says the tool is differentiated from generic genAI by the way data is processed and fed into it: 'Our AI models are finessed on processing traditional market research outputs - and are capable of both accurate and creative responses to questions about segments'. The tool handles two main types of questions: numeric, seeking specific answers; and contextual questions that seek a summary, comparison or opinion. To avoid AI 'hallucinations' and give confidence in results, sources are provided, with links. Data Science Director
Particular attention has been given to the functionality of the chatbot to provide confidence to its users. Hasdeep Sethi says the bot 'puts users in control, opening up the value of specific insights and giving them the opportunity to be more strategic in how they apply them'.
With more than 400 people located across a dozen cities in Europe, the USA and APAC, the group is online at www.strat7.com .
