CTO Hire for Alembic
In San Francisco, AI-powered marketing analytics platform Alembic Technologies has appointed Abby Kearns as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Alembic provides C-suite executives with a near-real-time view of marketing activity and its impact on revenue, aiming to break down silos between marketing, finance and business operations. In February this year it raised $14m in series A funding, from backers including DreamWorks founder Jeffrey Katzenberg and legendary quarterback Joe Montana; and in May it rolled out an upgrade which it says offers a breakthrough in mathematically demonstrating causality in large datasets using composite AI.
Kearns spent eight years at Verizon, most of it as Head of Product Management, Integration Services. After leaving the company in 2013 she worked as a Product Manager at Pivotal Software, then as CEO of open source nonprofit Cloud Foundry Foundation. Since 2020 she has served as an angel investor, and a board director - she currently serves on the boards of Lightbend, StackPath and Invoke.
In her new role, Kearns will lead technology research and development at Alembic, whose CEO and founder Tomás Puig comments: 'Now is the perfect time for Abby to join Alembic to enhance our leadership team, lead technology research and development, and help drive and support our growth. With Abby's technology leadership, we can best respond to the tremendous interest that Alembic is receiving and ensure that Alembic continually leads the world in AI-based marketing analytics'.
