Circana Promotes Knightly for CFO Role
Consumer data giant Circana has promoted EVP of Global Finance Holly Knightly to CFO, effective next week. She succeeds Anne Bramman who has helped steer the company through its formation from the merger of IRI and The NPD Group.
The merger occurred in the Spring of 2022 and the company got its new name almost a year later. Its combination of advanced analytics, cross-industry data and decades of expertise help clients understand spending and trends in a huge array of retail sectors, and take action accordingly. Much of its offer is based around the Liquid Data platform which integrates market, consumer, frequent shopper, media, supply chain and other data in an on-demand, cloud-based technology hub to recommend action for brands and retail stores. Client data can be added in a tailored private cloud environment, and last month the company unveiled the results of a major project integrating five years of AI expertise into the platform, launching Liquid AI.
Knightly (pictured) is already a member of Circana's Executive Leadership Team, and will now lead the global finance and strategy organization including planning, strategy, accounting, treasury, tax, reporting and investor relations. She joined the company in 2020 and held an interim CFO role for eight months starting October '22. Prior to joining IRI she spent fourteen years in financial roles, starting at P&G, then at GE and finally with six years at James Hardie Building Products.
President and CEO Kirk Perry says 'We are delighted to appoint Holly as CFO, as we continue to drive Circana's financial strategy forward, accelerate growth across our business, and provide differentiated consumer insights and category expertise to help our clients succeed. Holly is an accomplished finance and business executive who has successfully delivered strong results in dynamic environments at both public and private companies'. He adds: 'We thank Anne for her leadership in helping to execute our successful post-merger integration, building momentum across teams globally, and positioning Circana's leading technology and capabilities to deliver long-term value creation for all stakeholders. Anne played a key role in enhancing the organization's strategic capabilities, including deploying our finance technology platform and launching Circana's global transformation program, and we wish her all the best in her next chapter'.
