Funds for Unicorn Data Platform DevRev

In Palo Alto, California, data platform DevRev has completed a $100.8m Series A funding round, valuing the company at around $1.15bn. Funds will help to expand its operations and software development.

Led by CEO Dheeraj Pandey (pictured), co-founder and previously CEO of Nutanix, and with offices in seven locations worldwide, DevRev was founded in October 2020. The firm aims to 'unify customer support and product development'. The firm offers a 'robust' knowledge graph in which data from legacy systems is continuously being fed in real time to business functions across companies in order to operationalize GenAI. The graph powers the company's AgentOS platform and apps, including search, analytics and workflow, which in turn support AI-native apps for customer service, product management and software engineering. The apps analyze structured and unstructured data like customer conversations, searches and user sessions, and DevRev says its simplified stack 'can co-exist [with] or replace solutions such as Zendesk, Salesforce Service Cloud, Intercom and Atlassian Jira'.

The new funds include investments accumulated over the past three years, from investors including Khosla Ventures, Mayfield Fund, and CEO Pandey's family office, Param Hansa Values, in addition to several accelerators and family offices of tech CEOs and VCs.
