Four Senior US Promotions for Ipsos
Ipsos has made four recent promotions in the US: Lisa Gudding to President, Strategic Growth; Jessica Gates to EVP (continuing as North American CMO); Wendy Wallner to EVP and leader of the Retail and Restaurant sectors; and Mike Bellmont EVP and sector leader for Telecoms.
The firm says Gudding, who spent the first nineteen years of the century at GfK, has 'a track record of excellence and a passion for helping clients grow'. She sits on the boards of the University of Wisconsin Marketing Leadership Institute and chairs the AMA Foundation, having served the AMA over many years. Prior to GfK she spent a decade at Minnesota-based Custom Research, Inc.
Gates has been CMO since May 2020, having joined Ipsos eighteen months earlier. She also worked previously at GfK, rising to Global Head, Marketing Communications for GfK Research during thirteenyears at the company. Earlier she worked at pharma research firm V2 (acquired by GfK), after starting her career in public relations. At Ipsos her role includes producing data and analysis-centric content that clients can act on, including thought leadership series Insights to Activate, and the career inspiration series The Path.
Wallner began her career in brand management for Procter & Gamble, then moved agency side to ACNielsen, and in 2003 joining GfK, where her focus on retail, restaurant and shopper insights developed during a fourteen-year stay. She joined Ipsos in an SVP role in 2018. Bellmont joined Ipsos in 2000 as an SVP focusing on the media, advertising and technology sectors.
