Rep Data Hires Former Cint Sales Leader

In New Orleans, data collection tech firm Rep Data has announced the appointment of former SSI and Lucid / Cint exec Ricky Odello as SVP of Sales.

Founded in 2019 by former Lucid / Research Now exec Patrick Stokes, Rep Data provides full-service data collection solutions for primary quant research studies, for clients including MR agencies, management consultancies, major corporations, ad agencies, PR firms and universities. Last autumn it acquired data quality and anti-fraud software platform Research Defender (previously SampleChain), which offers tools for matching respondents to relevant surveys and preventing sample fraud / duplication. Last month it launched what it claims is ' the industry's first DIY offering of voter-matched sample for public opinion researchers and pollsters', available through its Research Desk platform.

Odello (pictured) spent eight years at Survey Sampling International, rising to VP of Sales, and in early 2017 joined Lucid with the same title. He joined Cint when it acquired Lucid and shortly afterwards, in August 2022, became its EVP Americas, responsible for the overall performance of its sales organisation in the New World. At Rep Data, he will focus on expanding market presence, enhancing client relationships, and ensuring the continued delivery of 'top-tier solutions'.
