DMR Becomes listening247

In London, intelligent data solutions firm DMR has rebranded, taking the name of its flagship established product, listening247.

Michalis MichaelThe firm was founded in 2010 as DigitalMR, promising a 'holistic' consulting approach to web-based MR using social media research, web listening and technology platforms. Lately its business has boomed - it completed a successful first institutional funding round at the end of 2023, and in April this year it announced the appointment of no fewer than nine new staff.

listening247 is focused around transforming unsolicited and raw data into actionable insights, for which it uses more than 100 proprietary AI models. Data comes from unstructured data streams including social media, blogs, forums, news, review sites, customer calls, chats, emails and survey responses.

CEO and founder Michalis A. Michael (pictured) says the name change 'reflects our evolution as a company and our dedication to pioneering the Intelligent data as a Service (IdaaS) sector'.

The company will continue to operate three other solutions, engaging247, communities247 and the wonderfully named DataVinci, integrating listening247 functionality with each of them. Michael explains: 'While listening247 provides the intelligent data from unsolicited opinion, DataVinci produces the recommended actions and not only that, it also produces copy and images for social media posts. engaging247 then makes it easy to schedule these posts and connect with their customer communities. Meanwhile, communities247 facilitates the gathering of solicited opinion from private and branded customer communities and provides a true 360 degree view of the customer'.
