China Hire and Expansion for Paris-Based Ekimetrics

Paris-based data science firm Ekimetrics has appointed Christina Cen as General Manager in China, driving ambitious growth plans for the region and based in a new office in Shanghai.

Ekimetrics provides AI products and platforms to help clients optimize revenue and profit, in a sustainable way. More than 500 data and AI experts assist with marketing and commercial effectiveness, customer analytics, operational excellence and ESG transformation. The Shanghai office opened at the start of this year, and the company also has a longstanding office in Hong Kong, opened in 2015.

Cen brings nearly twenty years of experience in business strategy, marketing, sales and digital transformation, from firms including consultancies McKinsey and Bain. She has also led strategy and innovation at McDonald's and Cargill, and served as COO for APAC Clients & Industries at Deloitte Asia Pacific. In her new role she will lead the China team and will focus on tailoring client strategies to meet the specific and fast-changing needs, trends and regulations of the market. The firm says 30% of its APAC revenue already comes from China, and aims to generate a turnover of over 100 million RMB within the next five years.

In line with Cen's own experience, the new office will focus on sectors including consumer & retail, financial services, technology, and automotive.
