BNP Media Merges 'Clear' MR Brands into New Firm
In the US, BNP Media has merged its B2B MR brands Clear Seas Research and myCLEARopinion Panel into a new entity called myCLEARopinion Insights Hub.
myCLEARopinion Panel, launched in 2011, taps the databases of BNP's more than a hundred business-to-business print and digital publications to recruit industry panels, while Clear Seas was launched as long ago as 2006 as a full service agency and offers expert insights, reporting and dashboarding. BNP's focus is on trade professionals including the likes of plumbing, adhesives, foodservice and packaging.
The merger promises clients integrated, end-to-end service from sampling and 'improved panel access' through to 'cutting edge data visualization', with actionable data. The firms say the new company 'will leverage advanced, human-led recruiting efforts to bring real people to our panel and to our clients' surveys'.
Mitch Henderson, who with brother Harper Henderson is co-CEO and co-owner of BNP will also serve as co-CEO of the newly formed company, and says the merger 'allows us to offer comprehensive research services under one roof, eliminating the inefficiencies and fragmentation often experienced with larger firms'. He adds: 'We are excited to bring a boutique approach with exceptional knowledge of B2B panel, recruiting, and research logistics, where taking care of our clients and respondents is our top priority'.
