Suzy Promotes Katie Gross to President
In New York, consumer insights platform Suzy has promoted Chief Customer Officer Katie Gross to the role of company President.
Suzy integrates consumer audiences with a range of qual and quant research and analysis tools, promising teams the ability to conduct iterative, efficient research with agency-quality rigor at a fraction of the cost of traditional MR. The platform is used for innovation research, shopper tracking and many other purposes. The business was founded in 2018 by former Crowdtap CEO Matt Britton and has since raised more than $100m in venture capital funding.
Gross (pictured) has more than two decades of experience in MR. Before joining Suzy in 2020 she worked for two and a half years at Cint where she was SVP of Sales and Customer Success for the Americas. Earlier she spent a total of seven years at Toluna and four and a half at Mintel, during two spells at each company. She began her career in the UK and has worked in the USA since 2011.
At Suzy, Gross has worked in customer experience and business development, building a team to support the firm's promise of high-quality, agile research for the world's leading brands. Elsewhere she serves on the board of the Insights Association and Market Research Institute International.
In her new role as President, she will continue to oversee the firm's commercial functions but will add expanded roles in strategy and corporate development. Founder and CEO Matt Britton says of the promotion: 'Katie has been an extraordinary leader at Suzy, consistently elevating our culture, product, team, and customer relationships. I am confident that as President, she will continue to drive our mission forward and help Suzy reach new heights'.
