Bilendi Buys UX Recruitment Specialist Tandemz

European research tech and panels company Bilendi & respondi has acquired French firm Tandemz, which specialises in UX tester recruitment.

Marine WolffhugelBilendi & respondi collects data from consumers, citizens, patients and professionals, and employs more than 400 people in offices in Europe's Big 5 economies plus Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Morocco. The firm is certified ISO 20252:2019 and its offer includes AI solution BARI and SaaS MR platform Bilendi Discuss. Previously operating online panels in fifteen European countries, the firm announced three weeks ago that it will launch twenty new proprietary panels, extending its coverage to 'nearly all of Europe'.

Tandemz was co-founded in Paris in 2020 by UX engineers Marine Wolffhugel, France Wang and Nicolas Djambazian. Its self-service recruiting platform helps clients to find research participants from all over the world for client interviews, usability tests and surveys; and to set up user tests simply and rapidly - either by inviting members of their own community to join a testing panel or by recruiting participants from Tandemz's network of c.30,000 testers.

The firms say Tandemz's clients will benefit from Bilendi's international coverage and technologies, while its AI solutions will help with development of Tandemz's UX-testing services. While Tandemz will get access to Bilendi's 2.5 million plus active online panellists across fifteebn European countries, new proprietary panels will also be launched 'soon' across Europe to meet the needs of Tandemz's clients.
