Pureprofile Continues Rapid Growth
Data and research group Pureprofile has released preliminary results for the quarter ending September 30th, declaring another 'record quarter' with revenue up 13% to $AUD 13.9m. Growth outside Australia was particularly strong, as the firm expands its markets in the US, the UK and India.
The Surry Hills, New South Wales-based company offers online research solutions for agencies and brands, and operates the Audience Builder platform which hosts panels for a number of global partners.
In July Pureprofile announced full year revenue up 10% to $AUD 48.1m. The latest preliminary, unaudited results suggest the next quarter has seen even faster growth: Rest of World revenue rose 17% versus the same period a year earlier, and now makes up some 44% of the global total, up from 42% a year earlier and just 30% four years ago. ANZ revenue also grew strongly however, up 10% year-on-year, bolstered by a regional market rebound and the acquisition of Sydney fieldwork firm i-Link. Profits also rose: EBITDA was up 13% to $AUD 1.6m.
'It's encouraging to see the momentum from the final quarter of FY24 carrying into Q1' says CEO Martin Filz (pictured). 'The uplift in the ANZ market is a positive sign, and our continued investments in the rest of the world are delivering strong returns. The i-Link integration has been seamless, with teams successfully transitioning to Pureprofile systems, and clients now benefiting from greater scale. Our client-facing technology is evolving quickly, with new solutions launched in Q1 already generating revenue, and more on the way for Q2, setting us up well for the second half. We remain vigilant about global economic conditions, focusing on prudent investments that drive revenue and margin growth'.
