Sprinklr Replaces co-CEOs with One (New) CEO
Unified CX management company Sprinklr has appointed former Vonage leader Rory Read as its new Chief Exec: its two current co-CEOs, founder Ragy Thomas and recently elevated exec Trac Pham, will serve as advisors, while Thomas remains Chairman of the Board.
Sprinklr describes itself as 'the first unified CXM platform for the enterprise', capturing massive amounts of structured and unstructured data from customer engagements on more than thirty channels. In March the company announced full year 2023 revenue up 18% to $732.4m.
Pham joined the company as COO at the beginning of the year, having served on its Board since last summer - and was promoted to co-CEO in June, charged with guiding business operations, corporate functions and go-to-market teams.
Read, who took over the Chief Executive's role yesterday, brings decades of technology leadership experience from companies including Dell, Boomi, Virtustream, AMD and Lenovo. He led the integration of Dell and EMC to create Dell Technologies, at the time the world's largest privately controlled technology company. Most recently at Vonage, he spent four years as President and CEO, overseeing its sale to Ericsson in July of 2022 for $6.2bn. Earlier in his career he spent 23 years at IBM. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Sciences from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York.
Thomas says the team extends its 'deep gratitude' to Pham for helping to establish a strong foundation for the new CEO to build from: 'Over many months, Trac and I have worked in tight partnership to stabilize the business, rigorously assess our needs, and identify the right leader to advance Sprinklr's mission and position us for scalable growth. Rory has an impressive track record as a transformational CEO, with an ability to unify teams, foster innovation, and create substantial value for employees, customers, partners and stockholders'.
