Dig Adds AI Video Interview Feature to Upsiide Platform
Canada-based, tech-enabled consumer researcher Dig Insights has added an AI Video Interview feature in its Upsiide platform. Users can now run machine-moderated video conversations with respondents, with GenAI-assisted real-time analysis.

Dig has more than 250 staff in offices in Toronto, Chicago and London, and has recently acquired San Francisco-based quallie Ignite 360 and Austin, Texas-based strategy and innovation advisor Ebco Trends.
Dig says the new AI Video Interview feature takes inspiration from social platforms like Instagram and TikTok, generating highlight reels of AI-moderated consumer interviews to make thematic analysis easy. CEO and co-founder Paul Gaudette comments: 'AI has the potential to transform how we uncover consumer insights, and we're thrilled to be at the forefront of that change. Our clients rely on Dig because we're experts at embedding tech and AI-driven efficiencies into every part of our process and reporting. Frank Beirne (pictured), Dig's EVP of Technology, says the new feature 'integrates real consumer voices, adds vital context, and fosters deeper connections with the end consumer'. He adds: 'Leveraging generative AI, this feature seamlessly moderates interviews and creates automated highlight reels, making thematic analysis quick and intuitive'.
