SurveyMonkey Adds 'Seamless' WhatsApp Data Collection
San Mateo-based SurveyMonkey is now allowing users to share its DIY surveys and forms with their WhatsApp groups and contacts, with a single click. The DIY digital survey pioneer already offers collection via social media leaders LinkedIn, X / Twitter and Facebook, as well as Microsoft Teams.
The addition of WhatsApp social sharing means the firm's users in more than 130 countries can engage instantly with target groups via their mobile devices - it is already generating twice as many clicks and shares than all the firm's other social sharing platforms.
CEO Eric Johnson states: 'Long recognized as a global messaging powerhouse and used by over 2 billion people worldwide, WhatsApp has already proven to be a game-changer for our customers. Its worldwide appeal has opened a new door for our users, giving them an easy and secure way to share their surveys and forms on a platform they already use and trust'.
The company recently launched a new suite of analysis, sharing and collaboration tools within its Genius AI environment, aimed at non-specialist teams within businesses; a new integration with PayPal; and a CX solution.
