UK Launch for YouGov's CategoryView
YouGov has launched its CategoryView industry-specific brand tracking solution in the UK. The tool gives clients a holistic view both of events and trends in a sector and the performance and status of their own brand within it.
CategoryView is customised to meet the unique requirements of each vertical, and draws on YouGov's proprietary panel in each market - in this case three million Britons. The tool helps clients to track market shifts as they happen, and understand consumer preferences as they develop. For example, in financial services it identifies who is perceived as the most trustworthy high-street bank, while mapping trends in customer attitudes as to the important of trustworthiness against other factors like innovation.
In June, YouGov launched two new CategoryView products in the US, covering the Automotive sector and the Beer and Hard Seltzer (BHS) market. Charlie Taylor (pictured), the firm's VP Data Products - Data Strategy says the tool was developed specifically to help brands that operate in particular industries to drive growth and refine their strategies. He adds: 'Our users were placed front and centre of the development of this one stop shop solution that combines deep sector intelligence with high-quality brand tracking'.
