Radius Global Buys 7th Sense

US-based insights and strategy firm Radius Global Market Research, which began the year by acquiring London company Strive Insight, is concluding it with the acquisition of automotive-focused Michigan agency 7th Sense. Financial details were not disclosed.

Chip ListerRadius was founded in 1960 and is headquartered in New York City, with offices across the US and globally. The firm applies an activation framework called Brand Growth Navigator to help clients prioritize critical business-building issues and realize the full potential of their brands. This includes identifying potential innovations and creating customer segmentations, and the Strive buy in January strengthened its skills in problem-solving, communications, primary research and big data.

7th Sense, which offers ethnographic, quantitative and custom blended methods, is headquartered in Bingham Farms, MI, with a location in Redondo Beach, CA, and was established in 2002. Its acquisition, which is effective immediately, strengthens Radius's global research and consulting capabilities across the full spectrum of industries. In particular, Radius says its own Brand Growth Navigator will combine well with 7th Sense's 'Adding Insight to Intuition' approach, which is 'designed to target and capture both the richness and contradictions of the human experience, confirming or refuting client theories and intuition'.
