Pureprofile Launches Video Survey Solution

In Sydney, data and insights company Pureprofile has launched an AI-powered video survey capability, which it says will 'capture more nuanced consumer insights and enhance business decision-making'. The tool uses AI-generated avatars to encourage authentic, unfiltered feedback.

Niamh FitzpatrickPureprofile's research promises 'rich insights into real human behaviour' - the firm builds in-depth profiles of consumers via proprietary and partner panels, helping clients to understand their audiences, target and engage them. For the third quarter of this year it reported revenue up 13% to $AUD 13.9m, with growth outside Australia particularly strong, and a week ago it appointed Emily Beach as Head of Data & Insights UK, reflecting strong demand for its solutions in the country.

The video surveys launch follows the recent launch of a product innovation team, dedicated to developing a pipeline of AI-powered data technology solutions. The new solution uses a library of more than 127 'human-like or cartoon-style' avatars with a choice of more than 170 languages. Its video technology promises to capture non-verbal responses, tone and emotional reactions that are missed in text-based surveys, and the firm's AI coding tool analyses the results for sentiment. The company says the launch addresses clients' 'growing need for deeper, more nuanced customer insights while maintaining research efficiency and managing budgets effectively'.

'In the age of hyper-personalisation, brands need to meet consumers where they are more than ever' says Chief Product Officer Niamh Fitzpatrick (pictured). 'Pureprofile's AI-driven video survey capabilities elevate market research by appealing to our innate human need for interactive and engaging experiences, thereby making their feedback even more genuine, instinctive and emotive' She adds: 'Video surveys enable brands to gather meaningful insights quickly, cost-effectively, and at scale in a privacy-safe way, empowering smarter decisions with richer, more efficient data'.

The company was founded in 2000 and is based in Surry Hills, NSW, Australia. Web site: www.pureprofile.com .
