Brisbane's Askable Gets Funds for Global Expansion

Brisbane, Australia-based on-demand research and insight delivery platform Askable has secured $AUD 22m in Series A funding, with which to scale its business, invest in new technology and drive global recruitment.

Askable founders John Goleby (left) and Scott Goleby courtesy of PRWebAskable was founded in 2017 by father and son Scott and John Goleby (pictured right and left respectively), together with Andreas Zhou, and now also has offices in London and Chicago. The firm has been 'profitable and self-funded since day one' - this round led by Airtree Ventures is its first external investment.

The platform provides product development researchers and UX professionals with a combination of technology and expert input, along with 'rigorously vetted participants'.

CEO John Goleby says that 'Without a way to quickly and deeply extract the full truth from users, digital products stand almost no chance of success'. He continues: 'The way we see it, traditional research methods and no amount of DIY tools can keep pace with today's demands, leading to backlogs, poor product decisions, and unnecessary risks. Askable fundamentally shifts the way products are built. Deep user insight fuels intentional product decisions, ultimately delivering experiences users crave, and well, expect. It's an approach over 600 of the world's biggest brands are already taking with our help, for obvious reasons'.

The company is online at www.askable.com .
