QuestionPro Buys Collaboration Platform SpatialChat
US-based online survey and research tech and services company QuestionPro has acquired SpatialChat, a European company developing video streaming and immersive virtual environments for meetings and collaboration.
QuestionPro's fully integrated online platform includes survey research, customer experience (CX) and workforce/employee experience software, and the firm's offer also includes polling, journey mapping, employee 360s and data visualization. Headquarters are in Texas and other office locations include Canada, Mexico, the UK, Germany, Japan, Australia, the UAE and India, as well as additional US cities.
SpatialChat's platform provides immersive digital environments in which client companies can enhance their employees' communication, engagement, collaboration and productivity. Its more than 6 million users worldwide include businesses and educational institutions. Client organisations include Google, McDonald's, McKinsey, Amgen, Harvard University and MIT.
QuestionPro says the buy will add value to its existing Qualitative Research and Customer Experience (CX) platforms while expanding SpatialChat's footprint beyond Europe into the US and global markets. According to QuestionPro CEO Vivek Bhaskaran: 'SpatialChat has created a unique, interactive space for virtual collaboration that has proven incredibly valuable for remote teams and virtual event organizers.
