Funds for Data Integration 'Copilot' Firm Prophecy

San Diego, CA-based data integration software company Prophecy has raised $47m in a Series B1 round of funding, and will use the money to expand operations and its business reach.

Funds for data integration firm ProphecyLed by CEO Raj Bains, Prophecy aims to provide client corporates with clean, accurate data on their cloud platforms, pulled in and integrated from a huge variety of systems and formats. To date, it has done so by combining the speed and usability of visual pipelines and tools with customizable components, allowing clients to reserve coders' time for the last mile of customization. Its Migration Copilot speeds up the migration process and applies automation to business logic conversion from legacy platforms.

The company will use this funding and a $35m Series B raised a year previously to scale up its efforts to 're-imagine' data integration using AI.

The latest round was led by Smith Point Capital, joined by new investor HSBC and existing investors including Berkeley SkyDeck, DallasVC, Insight Partners, JPMorgan Chase and SignalFire.
