Innovation Chief Algraniti to Leave Comscore

Comscore's Chief Innovation Officer David Algranati will depart the company sometime this quarter, according to a brief SEC regulatory filing. No reason has been specified and the company has not yet named a successor.

Algranati (pictured) joined consumer and media firm Simmons Market Research Bureau (later acquired by Experian) in 2002 as Senior Statistician, and was the chief architect of its SCOR solution. He joined multi-screen measurement specialist Rentrak in the summer of 2011 as SVP of Product Innovation and Analytical Solutions.

After the Rentrak acquisition Algraniti led Comscore's innovation in areas such as person-level measurement for video products and cross-platform deduplication, in his role as Chief Product Officer. He was promoted two and a half years ago to Chief Innovation Officer.
