Senior Sales Appointments for Morning Consult

In New York, decision intelligence company Morning Consult has announced key leadership appointments relating to its recent launch of an AI platform. Jocelyn Powers joins as Chief Sales Officer, while Lisa Kiefer has been promoted to SVP, Head of Solution Sales.

Morning Consult combines proprietary high-frequency survey data with applied AI to provide decision intelligence to firms and governments worldwide. The firm conducts around 15,000 new interviews each day and its data now encompasses feedback from around 30 million interviews conducted across more than 40 countries. In November it unveiled a suite of AI tools promising to help users unlock smarter, faster insights from its proprietary data.

Powers (pictured top) brings more than twenty years of commercial leadership experience in SaaS and professional services, from companies including Ocelot, Interfolio, Atlantic Media and EAB. In her new role she will focus on operationalizing and optimizing sales processes, working closely with finance and legal partners to streamline operations and drive sales insights.

Kiefer (pictured below) joined the firm four years ago and has led led key client service initiatives, driving revenue retention and growth for its largest Solutions portfolio. She previously spent four and a half years at Washington, D.C.-based Wakefield Research, which helps clients with thought leadership, PR polling and strategy, and now brings her expertise in strategic client engagement to bear on Morning Consult's sales strategy.
