Collage Launches New Solutions, Makes Two Senior Hires

Cultural intelligence specialist Collage Group has brought in former Big Village & GfK researcher David Albert, and Jason Moore, former Chief Sales Officer at ChurnZero, while announcing the launch of a proprietary AI-enabled platform for insight and engagement.

David Albert and Jason MooreCollage was founded in 2009 in Bethseda, MD, and combines a daily-updated tech platform with advice from experienced cultural strategists to help clients understand the drivers of consumer behavior. The firm recently rolled out new products called Audience Profiles, Custom Audiences and Trended Data - and launched a multicultural trends report called C-Pulse. It also unveiled a proprietary AI cultural personal assistant called Spark, giving access to curated insights from '26 billion primary datapoints', including customizable data visualization and exports.

The firm says it will add three new 'Growth Solutions' in the current quarter: Brand Opportunity & Brand Reach Segments (plus Brand Rejectors); Life Stage Audiences highlighting cultural similarities and differences for consumers experiencing life events such as college graduation, giving birth, a home purchase, or retirement; and Category Intenders Audiences, spotting purchase intenders in a category.

CEO and co-founder David Wellisch says the firm's 'key point of difference is its depth of proprietary cultural data, insight and cultural strategy expertise', and adds: 'This innovation enables brands to discover new cultural insights with faster time to impact than ever before'.

Albert (pictured above), former General Manager at Big Village and Chief of Staff at GfK, joins as Chief Insights Officer with more than twenty years of experience, including in-depth product and operations experience in consumer research, from shopper strategies to cultivating brand impact. In his new role he will oversee the syndicated team, C-Strat (the Cultural Strategy SMEs), and custom capabilities.

Moore (pictured below), previously Chief Sales Officer at customer success platform ChurnZero, also spent four years apiece at media intelligence firm Zignal Labs and PR & comms agency Vocus (now part of Cision). Also with a total of around twenty years of experience, he joins Collage as Vice President of Sales, overseeing the sales team.

Wellisch says the two new arrivals 'each bring unique growth, category and technology expertise that will benefit our clients, which are the world's leading consumer brands'.
