Milieu Hires Leader for US Expansion

Singapore-based MR and analytics platform Milieu Insight has appointed Ted Marzilli as President for the US market, driving market expansion and business growth. Like a number of other Milieu leaders he is a former YouGov exec.

Milieu was launched in 2017 by former GfK and YouGov exec Gerald Ang, and received almost $7.5m in total venture capital in 2019 and 2021. Its flagship platform Canvas promises intuitive tools for survey design and distribution, analysis, data visualization and reporting, and provides access to 'Portraits' profiling data on Milieu's panel of more than two million Southeast Asian consumers.

Marzilli brings more than twenty years' experience in the MR sector, including around fifteen at YouGov where he was CEO of Data Products from 2012 to 2019 and then CEO of YouGov Direct until 2022. He joined the company in 2007 as SVP and GM for the Brand and Syndicated Products group within Polimetrix, which YouGov acquired the previous year. Prior to YouGov he spent six years at Nielsen, after a spell at consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton.

In his new role, Marzilli will provide strategic oversight, ensuring the company's objectives and initiatives align with its global vision, shaping US strategy and cultivating key partnerships. His immediate goals include building a local team and launching the firm's suite of solutions.
