Launch for Rapid Insights Firm Gydence Group

Research tech veterans Raj Manocha and Jonathan Chavez have launched Gydence Group, which will combine 'time-tested' research methodologies with AI and machine learning to deliver 'reliable, actionable insights at record speed'. The firm has locations in Toronto and Dallas.

Gydence logoManocha, who is Gydence's CEO, worked previously as CRO at Delvinia, the parent company of AskingCanadians, before becoming the CEO of its 'MR operating system' platform Methodify. After the divisions were bought by Schlesinger (now Sago) he became the latter's Chief Client Officer. Chavez co-founded ethnographic and media research and analytics firm SocialSphere, and has served as its Chief Analytics Officer for the last eighteen years. At Gydence he takes the role of Chief Research Officer.

The firm offers services including advanced tracking, holistic segmentation and AI-powered analytics, and aims to address 'the fragmentation and declining data quality plaguing traditional market research'. 'Market research has been in dire need of an overhaul' according to Manocha. He adds: 'By fusing established methodologies with cutting-edge technology, we're giving businesses the clarity and confidence they need to make faster, more impactful decisions'. Chavez adds: 'All too often, fragmented data and black-box analytics leave executives guessing. At Gydence Group, we refine, validate and transform data into intelligence that can be acted on immediately'.
