OzTAM Adds Nexxen to Streaming Trade Platform

Australian ad currency body OzTAM has announced the addition of demand-side platform (DSP) Nexxen as a partner for its 'VOZ Streaming' BVOD trading system.

Karen HalliganVOZ Streaming was launched in November and provides an enhanced and customised multi-broadcaster programmatic BVOD trading solution for advertisers and media agencies in the country. The service is part of OzTAM's Virtual Australia service.

Nexxen is headquartered in Israel with offices in the US, Canada, Europe and Asia Pacific, offering demand- and supply-side platforms, and solutions including discovery, planning, activation, monetization, measurement and optimization. Last month the company announced a significant strengthening of its US and international teams with the appointments of Dianne Cairoli and Jessica Curry as VPs, Sales and Client Success for the South and Central regions respectively, plus Jaan Janes as VP Business Development and Michael Lewis as VP Enterprise Sales. In Australia the firm has offices in both Sydney and Melbourne.

Together with existing partners Xandr and The Trade Desk, OzTAM says the new arrival means it now covers the majority of programmatic trading in Australian agencies. Nexxen starts trading having completed a successful trial of the system in recent months.

OzTAM CEO Karen Halligan (pictured) says the news marks a key milestone in VOZ Streaming's expansion, stating: 'Nexxen's significant reach, particularly with independent media agencies, combined with our existing partnerships, continues to solidify VOZ Streaming as the go-to service for programmatic BVOD trading'.

Nexxen's VP Platform and Client Services APAC Janice Chan adds: We've long been committed to providing advertisers with the tools they need to seamlessly plan, activate and measure TV across channels, and our integration with VOZ Streaming marks a significant step in enhancing our flexible TV solutions - empowering our clients and partners to drive results in the fast-converging TV landscape'.

OzTAM says it will continue to expand and improve VOZ Streaming over the next few months: it plans to integrate Google DV360 as an additional DSP platform, launch first-party data matching via its clean room partnership wth Snowflake, and add the On Demand service of broadcaster SBS.
