J.D. Power Healthcare Appointment
J.D. Power and Associates has appointed Steven D. Wood, Ph.D. as Senior VP an General Manager of its Arizona-based Healthcare Division, strengthening its commitment to the sector.
Wood, who joined the firm in 2001, will focus on product development, broadening customer relationship strategies and evaluating alliances, mergers, and acquisitions. He has more than 20 years' experience as an active researcher, educator and consultant in various industries, with a particular focus on creating member retention and loyalty strategies for healthcare organizations.
Wood has bachelor's and master's from San Diego State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is professor emeritus of marketing, and formerly associate dean of graduate programs, at the Arizona State University W.P. Carey School of Business.
