Senior Engineering Hire for Ironwood

In Chandler, Arizona, research company Ironwood Insights Group has appointed Sean Flanagan as Director of Programming and Software Engineering.

Full service MR firm Ironwood was founded in 2017 and offers research design, qual and quant data collection, data processing, analytics, reporting and dashboard visualization.

Flanagan joins with well over two decades of survey programming experience, including survey implementation, multi-modal data collection, data cleaning and processing, and reporting. He spent nine years as a Programmer at InMoment and earlier eight at healthcare specialist Ziment, later part of Kantar Health. His track record includes developing and supporting complex online, CATI and postal MR surveys, with proficiency in tools such as Survox, Mentor, CSS and JavaScript.

Ironwood lists the addition of 'highly experienced team members with specialized expertise' as a key pillar of its strategy, and says Flanagan's appointment 'further fuels [its] rapid expansion plans.'

Flanagan is an avid traveler who has explored 48 countries, 37 of them by motorcycle.
