Simpson Carpenter Hires to Boost Sports and Auto Offers
UK research company Simpson Carpenter has made two leadership appointments: Chris Warren as a Senior Director in the Auto team, and Tristan Farron-Mahon, who joins as Head of Sport Insight and Innovation.
Warren brings eighteen years of research experience, including more than a decade in the automotive sector. The latter spans design, marketability, evolving drivetrain preferences, and sales forecasting. He served as Managing Director at Kubi Kalloo, working on advertising and brand tracking covering 'Brand Britain' with VisitBritain and the British Council; and before this was Head of Quantitative at Northstar, focusing mostly on automotive including work for Jaguar Land Rover, Ford, and Volvo. In his new role he will help to build Simpson Carpenter's quant capabilities, including advanced analytics, ad and brand tracking, and clinics.
Farron-Mahon has more than a decade of experience leading global customer insight and strategy programmes across the sport and automotive sectors. A former professional tennis player who represented Ireland in the Davis Cup, and a coach until 2014, he then played a key role establishing and scaling the Insight Consultancy function over six years at charity London Sport, before joining communities pioneer C Space as an AD in August 2021. In this role, over three and a half years, he led strategic account management and multi-disciplinary consultancy teams supporting global clients in automotive, sport, finance and healthcare. He will now build out Simpson Carpenter's Sport practice area, which helps sports properties 'go beyond the hard data' and compete more effectively. He will also support the automotive practice, in particular its work helping brands evolve to meet future customer needs.
