PR Agency Insights Veteran Vogt Launches New Firm Covo

In New York, Colby Vogt, previously an insights leader at global PR agencies, has launched Covo Intelligence, a firm promising to 'uncover what's real (even when it's inconvenient).'

Colby VogtVogt's twenty years of experience includes leading insights for global PR agencies Edelman, FleishmanHillard and Burson. Most recently he was EVP Insights at Burson, following its merger with Hill + Knowlton, where he had worked since 2021. Earlier he spent five and a half years at cultural communications agency DeVries Global, and six and a half at FleishmanHillard.

The new company's name is an Italian word meaning 'den' or 'protector', which Vogt (pictured) says 'reflects our commitment to being a trusted space for those tasked with making game-changing decisions.'

'Too much research is built to sell something, not to reveal the truth,' he adds. 'At Covo, we challenge that. We believe leaders don't need more data, they need sharper intelligence.'

The new firm will work on brand positioning, message testing, brand protection, audience and employee intelligence, predictive trend spotting and performance measurement.
