Senior Appointments Support Expansion for Behavix
Behavioral data company Behavix has appointed four high-profile industry figures - Julia Roland, Liam Corcoran, Alex Costakis and John McLaren - to its advisory and business development team, bringing experience from Nielsen, Ipsos, Research Now, Comscore, Hitwise, Pathmatics and ByteDance.
The company was launched eight months ago by former Verto Analytics execs Hannu Verkasalo and Surath Chatterji. Its proprietary, free technology allows MR firms and app/web publishers to collect opt-in-based behavioral data from a wide range of consumer devices - and delivers this data back enriched to panel companies, providing deep behavioral profiles of their members. It also supplies panel-based data feed solutions to businesses in finance, technology, media, gaming and market research, for use in internal processes, data models, products and marketing initiatives.
The hires follow what the firm describes as 'a very strong Q1, with rapid SDK adoption, expansion across three continents, and increased demand from sectors including advertising, finance and AI.'
Roland, who will support business development efforts across the US East Coast, brings decades of leadership experience from Ipsos and Nielsen, and was one of the pioneers of behavioral/telemetry data with Telephia, starting in 2011. Corcoran is based in London, and joins as Strategic Advisor. His experience in programmatic advertising, behavioral data and audience measurement comes from senior roles at ByteDance, Dynata (formerly Research Now) and Arbitron.
Costakis, based between Berlin and Los Angeles, joins to support Behavix's expansion into pharma, advertising and media verticals, and brings experience from Hitwise, Pathmatics and a number of digital intelligence startups. McLaren, based in Silicon Valley, will be a key commercial advisor for North America's West Coast, worked previously at Comscore and Verto Analytics, and joins from Measure Protocol.
'We've built Behavix to be lean, global, and built-for-AI - and now we're expanding our go-to-market capabilities with some of the sharpest minds in the industry, with many of whom I have had a pleasure to also work earlier in my career', according to CEO and founder Hannu Verkasalo.
'This is a pivotal moment for Behavix,' Verkasalo told DRNO. 'These new team members bring decades of experience from the very companies we're now disrupting - with faster, privacy-first behavioral data that's ready for the AI era. We're building something lean, global, and truly scalable - and it's resonating with both brands and investors.'
