Harris Network adds Turkey and Venezuela
Harris Interactive(r) has added two new members to its Global Network of partners. Full service agencies ESTIME and TRIA International Research and Consultancy become the Networks members in Venezuela and Turkey respectively.
Caracas-based ESTIME (Estudios Integrales de Mercado) was established in 1989, formerly a part of parent company ESMEFAR, and is the second fastest-growing research firm in Venezuela. It offers a full range of qualitative and quantitative research and consultancy services with special focus on consumer goods and services, human health, industrial, animal health, b2b and agribusiness custom research. It conducts most of its business in Venezuela and Colombia and operates a 20-station call center with CTI, VoIP and multi-language (Spanish, English, Portuguese and French) capabilities.
According to ESTIME's Executive VP Walter Mucchiut, 'Being part of Harris Interactive's Global Network is a significant milestone in our firm's trajectory... we are convinced that its global expertise and multidisciplinary resources combined with our local market knowledge and proprietary customized methodologies will definitely stand as a unique offer for the Venezuelan market'.
TRIA, headquartered in Istanbul, was established in October 2000, and offers market research services in Turkey, and through its business partners in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, and in Central Asia. TRIA MD Melih Yurdagul says that joining the Network will help to 'gear up the speed of growth of TRIA' while David Vaden, HI's Executive VP and CSO welcomes the partnership, seeing the region as 'a gateway to Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia'.
Members of Harris Interactive's Global Network now represent Africa, Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Eastern and Western Europe, Central/North/South America, and the Middle East. Although affiliated with Harris Interactive, members operate as totally independent firms.
