UK Insight Firms Join New Holding Group SHARCC

Six UK data and insight businesses are pooling resources under a new holding company, SHARCC Group, which has acquired majority stakes in them. The firms are Potentia Insight, DataTree Connexions, SigDiff, Potentia Sports, Pegasus Insight and InsightX.

While the firms will benefit from access to complementary expertise across the wider group, as needed, SHARCC stresses that each business retains full operational independence, client confidentiality, and its specialist focus. In addition to research and analytics, expertise includes data science, sports consultancy and strategic advisory services.

Four of the companies are already part of the same setup: Potentia Insight is the owner of DataTree and SigDiff, and its sports division was launched a year ago this month. Pegasus Insight and data collection specialist InsightX Research Solutions were both launched in 2023.
