ABI Buy Strengthens European Technology Offer
US-based technology analyst ABI Research has acquired Concise Insight Europe Ltd, which focuses on research among wireless operators. The buy gives ABI a local base from which to study European technology markets.
Jake Saunders, who founded Concise Insight only in 2002, becomes ABI's Director of Research, Europe. He worked previously as Director of Research, Europe for the Strategis Group, a global telecoms analyst company.
With the purchase of Concise, ABI acquires a large and well-segmented wireless database for the European market, and strengthens its support for a rapidly growing European client base under the management of Joe Galvez, Director of Business Development, Europe.
According to ABI President Tim Archdeacon, 'Jake's analytical skills, his years of expertise in the technology market research business, strong media relations with CNN, CNBC, the BBC and his proven track record of operations management make him the perfect fit for ABI Research's growing needs'.
