Pulse Launches Asian CATI Centre
Pulse Group, whose launch was announced just two weeks ago in DRNO, has formed a strategic partnership with IT solutions company Basis Bay and set up a 40 seat, state-of-the-art VOIP CATI Centre for surveys in the Asian market. Expansion into Europe is planned for later in the year.
Pulse offers solutions for the research industry in BPO, or what it calls Research Process Outsourcing. CEO Bob Chua says the Centre should be an exciting development for two reasons: 'Firstly, the cost competitiveness of VOIP CATI services out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia resulting in increased profit margin for MR companies. For example a call from our Centre to China is cheaper than placing a call from Hong Kong into China; and secondly bridging the gaps for online research, as Internet penetration grows... Our technology enables one to integrate real-time data into a central Dbase, allowing for multi-mode, multi-lingual research to occur in real-time'.
