Double Hiring for Double Helix
Pharma specialist Double Helix Development U.S. has announced two senior level appointments. Peggy Liebman joins as Vice President Quantitative Methods and Michelle Silva is the new Director Business Development.
Liebman, who holds a Ph.D., in Marketing specializing in Multivariate Statistics from Drexel University, Philadelphia, will lead the company's advanced quant offering. She has more than 10 years of quantitative pharmaceutical research expertise with top agencies, in areas including oncology, Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, NSLC; Supportive Care: Erythropoietins, 5HT3; Diabetes (T2), Dyslipidemia, Anti-Infectives; and Viscosupplements, Rheumatoid and Osteoarthritis. Her considerable academic backgrond includes time as marketing professor at Philadelphia area institutions including Drexel, LaSalle, College of NJ, and Stockton State College.
Silva has more than 8 years of BD experience with leading pharmaceutical MR firms and will be responsible for expanding relationships with existing clients as well as introducing new ones. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, and has a BS in Political Science/Economics from the University of California in San Diego.
