Young CFO for YouGov
Recently listed UK pollster YouGov has appointed a CFO. Katherine Lee (ACA), aged only 31, joins on July 25th and becomes a member of the Board. Current FD Jonson Helps will take on the role of Financial Controller for the Group and will step down from the Board.
Lee joins from Grant Thornton UK LLP where she has been Senior Manager in Transaction Services, Corporate Finance since November 2004. Her career also included work at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Sydney and Leeds from February 2000 until June 2003, and more than four years at Coopers & Lybrand where she qualified as a chartered accountant.
Joint CEO Nadhim Zahawi says Leee has 'the financial, strategic and people skills that the recently listed Group requires as we grow the business both organically, by developing new internet based market research techniques, and through selective acquisitions'.
