French Newspaper and Magazine Research Bodies Merge
Euro PQN, the readership research organisation for French newspapers, is merging with the magazine readership body AEPM, to form a new association, Audipresse.
Xavier Dordor, COO of the French association for the promotion of magazines, APPM, has been appointed COO of Audipresse. Dordor explained that the new organisation was founded as a result of much dialogue with the industry, and that it will give a greater role to users of the research - both publishers and advertisers.
He stated that Audipresse 'will allow editors to work together with advertisers to develop future research,' adding that one of the organisation's aims is to set up a dialogue with research companies to improve the research tools available.
