Senior Staff Join ACNielsen Europe & Emerging Markets
ACNielsen has named Patrick Dodd as Group Managing Director for its newly created Central Europe business region. Meanwhile Lennart Bengtsson has been promoted to President of ACNielsen Emerging Markets.
Dodd, previously President of ACNielsen Canada, will become a member of ACNielsen's European Executive Board when he takes up the new position next month. He will be based in Switzerland, and the new region will also encompass Germany, Austria, Hungary, Poland and the Czech and Slovakia Republics.
Bengtsson has more than 20 years' international MR experience. Most recently he was Managing Director of ACNielsen Japan, and Chief Marketing & Client Service Officer for Asia Pacific. The Emerging Markets region covers more than 40 countries - from Eastern Europe to the Middle East and South Africa. Bengtsson will be based at ACNielsen's Emerging Markets headquarters in Cyprus. He replaces Pat Gardiner.
