Wireless Director for In-Stat
Allyn Hall, a former Director of Motorola and senior figure at US West, is joining high-tech MR firm In-Stat as Director of Wireless Research. He will be responsible for research into mobile consumer and business markets for services and data.
During his 15 years in the wireless communications industry, Hall has worked as Wireless Data Product Group Director with Motorola; as VP of Marketing for wireless infrastructure producer Zetron; and as General Manager at Remtron, an industrial wireless controls manufacturer. He was also responsible for founding the Wireless Data business at US West Cellular. Recently, Hall has provided marketing consulting to various firms in the industry.
In-Stat's wireless team conducts research and forecasts into cellular phones, wireless infrastructure, and handset and base station components. Research plans include mobile video, wireless multimedia services, and a range of consumer and business satisfaction and spending studies.
