New CFOs for Arbitron and Pulse
Alex Chow has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Pulse Group, a research process outsourcing company for the Asia Pacific market research industry. Meanwhile, Sean Creamer joins Arbitron as CFO.
Chow, who joins Pulse today, was previously Head of Phileo Allied Capital Partners. Before this, he held various senior management positions with merchant banks, securities houses, and consultancy firms. In total, he has more than 18 years' experience in corporate finance, capital markets, consultancy and corporate planning.
Pulse CEO Bob Chua explained that Chow would be responsible for managing the company's corporate affairs and growth as it moves towards an IPO. He stated: 'We have lined up an aggressive expansion plan to further strengthen our position, and Alex will ensure our financial planning is in line with our growth requirements.'
Creamer is expected to join Arbitron in September, replacing Bill Walsh, who is due to retire. He was previously VP and CFO of Laureate Education, an education services firm. Before that, he was a tax manager for Mobil Oil Corporation after beginning his career in auditing and tax with Price Waterhouse.
