New Part-Time MR Study Centre for London
Three MR professionals have launched a training centre offering London-based researchers the opportunity to study part-time for the MRS Advanced Certificate. The centre - called Learning Capital - has just received MRS accreditation.
Suze Gomme, Joanna Chrzanowska, and Mike Imms - all experienced trainers who have also worked as market researchers - have devised the course to fit around students' working lives, while also providing face-to-face tuition and support.
The first course is planned to start in January 2006, and will consist of four study days - roughly one a month - plus a structured programme of homework. Students will be able to sit the exam in June.
The centre offers web-based facilities to help with homework activities, and students will be encouraged to support each other via 'buddy' networks and syndicate work.
The Advanced Certificate is designed for practitioners with limited experience in MR, those wanting to join the profession, experienced MR practitioners looking to update their skills, and marketing professionals seeking more research knowledge.
