BMG Research Expands in Wales
UK public sector research specialist BMG Research has appointed social policy specialist Karen Kellard as Account Director in the company's Birmingham head office. Belinda Herbert, formerly of Research & Marketing, also joins the company as its first permanent member of staff in Wales.
Kellard was previously Assistant Director at Loughborough University's Centre for Research in Social Policy (CRSP). Her research interests include welfare, social security and the labour market, and she has also undertaken significant studies of poverty and social inclusion. In her new role, she will be part of BMG's growing policy team.
Herbert, who was previously Research Director at Research & Marketing, has been appointed to manage the company's growing number of clients in Wales, and to develop new business opportunities. She will be based in Cardiff.
BMG Research was established in 1988 by the current MD Jonathan Bostock. Its social and economic research division works with a range of clients including local authorities, police authorities, housing associations, and government departments.
