IMSA Heads Down Mexico Way
The International Mystery Shopping Alliance (IMSA), has expanded its coverage with the addition of a Mexican partner, Big K Mystery Shopping. This brings the total number of IMSA members worldwide to 17.
Founded in 2003, Big K offers services across Mexico and works for clients in a range of industries from retail to automotive. It uses a combination of traditional mystery shopping, customer satisfaction, staff evaluation and competitor benchmarking. In March 2005, it became the first Mexican company to be accepted into the Mystery Shopping Providers Association (MSPA).
IMSA members' projects are locally run but centrally managed. All members sign up to agreed quality and reporting standards, ensuring that every assignment is conducted to the same standard. In total, the Alliance constitutes more than 500,000 active shoppers conducting 1,000,000 visits per annum.
Speaking of the new member, Byron McCann, IMSA President, said: 'Mexico is an attractive market with major brands experiencing solid growth and the need to continuously drive front-line improvements.'
Candor Gutierrez Vara, CEO at Big K, says his company is 'looking forward to offering our experience of working in American / Hispanic cultures to the Alliance'.
