Interpublic Marketing Intelligence Chief Retires
Ron Sugarman, Senior VP and Director of Interpublic's Center of Marketing Intelligence (CMI), is retiring after 43 years with the company. His successor is Robin Feuerstein, currently VP and Director of Information Services for CMI. She is another loyal employee, having been with the company for 26 years.
For the past 13 years, Sugarman has been responsible for directing CMI, which provides marketing intelligence and analytic services to Interpublic's operating companies. He is due to leave the company at the end of the year.
He joined McCann Marschalk (a predecessor of Lowe) in 1962 in Atlanta as account executive on the Coca-Cola business. For the next 30 years, he worked in New York, London and Tokyo on accounts including Nestle, Unilever and KFC.
Feuerstein has held various research positions during her time at Interpublic. She has developed CMI's intranet, CMI Online, as well as various information publications for Interpublic's management and clients. Recently profiled in the book Super Searchers on Madison Avenue, she is a member of the Social Libraries Association Advertising and Marketing division, which recently presented her with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
