Who's Calling Buys Up ClickPath
US Call measurement and monitoring firm Who's Calling has completed its acquisition of ClickPath, a provider of online and offline analytics. The companies have jointly developed the ClickPath tool, which measures the effectiveness of online campaigns in achieving offline purchases.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Both companies will now operate under the Who's Calling name.
According to Who's Calling, an estimated 65% of consumers and businesses start their purchases with an online search but make their purchase offline. The ClickPath tool is designed to connect online and offline channels, analysing phone enquiries to determine the source of the lead.
'ClickPath reveals that not all clicks are created equal,' said Stuart DePina, CEO of Who's Calling. 'The Internet and telephone create a complementary experience that companies need to leverage to stay competitive.'
Who's Calling was founded in 1998 and acquired StandardCall, a Dallas based local call tracking and measurement company, in November 2005. The company is online at www.whoscalling.com
