Market Probe Buys Again
Milwaukee, US-based provider Market Probe Inc. has acquired pharma MR firm Rowin Group Inc. for an undisclosed amount. Market Probe says Rowin will continue to operate from its current Maywood, NJ base and retain its existing staff, numbering about five.
President and Chief Exec Dilip Phadnis, a qualified pharmacist, started Rowin in 1979 after working for Becton Dickinson & Co. and pharma ad agency William D. McAdams.
Market Probe's President and CEO T.R. Rao says the deal will help the expansion of Market Probe's pharmaceutical MR practice to other areas of the world, and adapt and market its current MR products to the sector.
This is the firm's second acquisition in five weeks. It bought agricultural specialist Marketing Horizons, Inc. in late February (www.mrweb.com/drno/news5218.htm ).
